... in maintaining a stance of “active hope,” a term coined by Joanna Macy, author, environmentalist, activist, systems thinker and Buddhist. Active hope is something we do rather than have. It means working toward the possibility of reaching our preferred future (and being part of the “great turning.” It means acting with the intention of being part of the healing of the world.
